This committee would be composed of therapists, counselors, psychologists, and social workers, that would expand the scope of information to craft bills/and or work with legislatures to craft rational bills. They would commit to researching state and federal laws, and peer reviewed articles in an effort to educate and engage members and the public about current laws and research surrounding the registry and its affects.
This committee will be composed of criminal defense attorneys which will allow for the coalescence of attorneys throughout the state of Utah to organization and form a more cohesive voice in the desire and attempt to change the registry laws across the state. Having attorneys within our organization will allow UTRSOL to execute one part of its goals and objectives.
